Basinview Drive Community School

Parent Teacher Partnership

The Parent-Teacher Partnership is a partnership committee between school staff and school families, whose purpose is to help create an enriched school environment; often through fundraising and school community events.

In the 2022-23 school year, our Basinview PTP ran two major fundraisers that raised a total of $24,000 for literacy initiatives and technology infusion, brought school spirit wear back to Basinview, as well as sponsored the annual Basinview Field Day in June 2023. As we hope to continue to fundraise to support our school community, we are always looking for new and innovative ideas and support from new members. To learn more or join in our next meeting, please reach out to one of our Committee Co-Chairs, Kyla Burry, kylaburry@gmail.com or Tabitha Wadden, t_wadden@hotmail.com.

Our committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month from September to June. Our annual general meeting takes place in September of each year as a review of the previous school year and to start our next year plans.  Stay tuned for our first meeting date for the 2023-24 school year!

Please note: In order to be an approved volunteer to work with students or to chaperone on class trips you need to have a Criminal Background Check & Child Abuse Registry Check:
